A real monthly paper · Zero doomscrolling · Built for tables, sofas & chai breaks

THE
NO-NEWS
PAPER

No news, only games

The antidote to another evening of everyone on their phones: one paper you pass, scribble on, and laugh over — together.

Puzzles, word games, silly facts, and bite-sized challenges. No feeds, no hot takes — just something tactile to look forward to each month.

  • Connection without a screen — guests, family, first dates, lazy Sundays.
  • A clear "what do we do now?" — open a page and you're already playing.
  • Something to finish at your pace: put it down, pick it up, no algorithm.

Print in your hands · Games, not gossip · New spreads every issue

The No-News Paper cover

Mind your words

Your attention is tired — give it a playground

Doomscrolling borrows your time and gives stress back. This paper borrows a few minutes and gives you riddles, silly facts, and tiny wins — on purpose, on paper.

Solo with coffee or passed around a table: each issue is edited so every spread feels worth the ink — not filler, not outrage, just play you can touch.

How it started

Maggi, chai, and a newspaper at 1 a.m.

We're Sourabh and Meghna — engineers by day, board-game people by night, and the kind of friends who will try a new café just to have somewhere to sit and talk. One night next to a Shell pump, an old newspaper turned a quick snack into almost an hour of puzzles — and we wondered why nobody was printing that feeling on purpose.

That night became The No-News Paper: games and laughs on real paper, for tables and sofas, not doomscrolling.

Mind on paper

Print puzzles train attention the way feeds never will

One object, clear rules, slow thinking — pattern play, words, and pencil wins. (Games paper, not a clinic.)

Food for thought

Plate puzzles & rebus riddles

Wordplay, picture clues, and bite-sized challenges that work as well at brunch as on a quiet evening in.

When small talk runs dry, you've already got a page to lean on — no app, no awkward silence.

Real world

Signs, facts & local legends

Odd trivia, "what's right?" moments, and fun facts designed to start conversations — not arguments.

Bonding beats debating: little "did you know?" sparks that feel good to share, not perform.

On your screen

Pop culture, puzzles, play

The site is the front door; the paper is where the games live — bold type, dashed boxes, and room to scribble without anyone tracking your scroll.

Movie in pieces

Emoji clues and guess-the-show moments — easy to join mid-game, hard to put down.
